Torre Abbey goes Live - July 2008
Following a £6.5 million investment over three years, Torre Abbey (the oldest building in Torquay) has now opened to the public. With a story spanning 800 years, Torre Abbey was once the most important Abbey of its kind in England and visitors are now able to explore the most ancient and hallowed parts of the building where some stunning finds have been unearthed.We were commissioned to develop and market the new website and are pleased to announce that the new website was launched in line with the official opening of the Abbey.
With detailed information relating to the Abbeys restoration and the experiences that visitors can expect, the new website can be seen at www.torreabbey.co.uk.
The website is powered by our content management system which allows members of the Abbey staff to update the contents of the websites internally, via a comprehensive, yet intuitive interface.
